Mohenjo Daro 2nd Day Box Office Collection: Mohenjo Daro currently struggling at the box office and the first day earning is not so good. On the first day occupancy reports are low if compare with Rustom. Film stars with a poor Friday and the collection ends on [08.87 Cr]. There was absolutely no leverage for the film to lap to it because it faced challenge from three quarters. The film has lack of critics acclaim so much need to improve. The film got competition from another biggie like Rustom and after a poor review Rustom occupancy going better that better in every show. The larger numbers of screens is the major part of collection. However, even that hasn’t helped the film gain much as Saturday collections too were stands at 09.75Cr.

The film is whopping the budget of more than 100Cr and film did not cover his production cost. Things are just not working out for the Hrithik Roshan starrer and after Kites and Guzaarish, this is yet another big ticket film which has proven to be a no-show for the star. The big star power and big director is failed to impress everyone. Mohenjo Daro marks Hrithik come back on screens after 2 years. The actor last seen in Bang Bang which made collection 3 times more than Mohenjo Daro’s opening day at domestic box office. Now tomorrow being Sunday holiday and the only the day where it could perform well otherwise working days might put huge effect on its overall business.

The film released over 2500 screens all over the India and expected collections on the first day is 15-17Cr but film just earned Rs-8.87 Cr. The film clashed with Akshay Rustom which took off with electrifying note in Indian market. The collection of domestic market might be lower than Rustom. The murder mystery thriller Rustom leads over Historical Drama movie Mohenjo Daro.

The average occupancy recorded 25-30% in morning shows on opening day and collection just favorable considering overall occupancy across the nation. The story and promos of Mohenjo Daro had created a lot of curiosity about the film before its release. This hype helped the movie register decent advance booking but the buzz fizzled out soon at ticket window after the release. On the second day film taking more hype and got good audience response.
