With Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, he is all set to enjoy the highest ever collections for a film directed by him. His last release was Student of the Year  and that film had brought in 9.25 crore on the opening day. Before that it was My Name Is Khan  and the first day numbers were 8.25 crore. After watching huge buzz around the movie the box office prediction looks like 15-16 crore. The movie all set to clash with Shivaay on 28th October 2016.
