The third release of Akshay Kumar in year 2016 takes a wonderful start at box office and till now showing a good growth. After passing third weekend successfully finally movie enter in 3rd week. Film got a good review from audience and critics and big clash with Mohenjo Daro now take off Rustom. Rustom where made 210% profit in domestic market and other side Mohenjo Daro whiteness for an epic disaster. Rustom registered himself as a super hit movie in domestic market and ruling all over the world.  The crime thriller of Tinu Suresh Desai grabbed a huge amount from domestic and overseas market. The film has managed to keep up a decent pace even on its third weekend despite back to back Friday releases in domestic box office.

Rustom also minted a huge amount from the international market and also created so many box office collection records. Akshay Kumar also breaks his own movies all time collection records. Rustom now become 3rd highest grosser of 2016 and 3rd biggest hit movie of Akshay career. The crime thriller becomes first choice in overseas market. The Tinu Suresh Desai managed to create good characters and all cast did a wonderful work. The film has grossed around 163.70 crores at the Indian box office. And adding its overseas business (36.30 crores), the movie stands at a worldwide total of 200 crores gross in 16 days. The film performed extremely well in UAE-CGG, US, Canada and Pakistan circuits.

Rustom 3rd Weekend Total Box Office Business

After successfully passing its third weekend now film enters in third week. This weekend another much awaited movie Akira releasing at box office and film really give tough competition to Rustom. Last weekend released A Flying Jatt received mixed review from audience and Rustom managed to grab huge amount from audience. Rustom not only took a better opening, but the gap between the film and Hrithik Roshan starrer widened with each passing day. The film had opened to mixed critics reviews but Akshay’s thriller has been having a wonderful run at the box office picked up extremely well at the box office with positive word of mouth.

The much-hyped box office clash between Rustom and Mohenjo Daro has turned out to be a damp squib at the box office. The production budget of Mohenjo Daro is very big and film whopping the budget of 110 Cr, other side Rustom movie budget is around 50 Cr. The Mohenjo Daro facing an epic disaster at box office, and Rustom made more than 220% profit at domestic market. Rustom not only took a better opening, but the gap between the film and Hrithik Roshan starrer widened with each passing day. It started with a difference of around 60% and increased to 70% over the weekend. Weekdays onwards, Rustom was running at 2-3 times the collections of Mohenjo Daro.
