After passing week at box office the trade reports from around the world is coming. Rustom rule over the box office and beaten Mohenjo Daro. The historical drama Mohenjo Daro fails to impress everyone and crime thriller Rustom wins the heart of audience. The box office battle begins from 12th August and till now battle is running. Rustom where crossed 90 Cr mark and Mohenjo Daro crossed only 50 Cr mark. Rustom is all set to enter in 100 Cr club. Now both movies enter in second weekend any major movie not released this weekend and it good for both movies. Both stars have huge number of fan following and it good for box office.

The Akshay Kumar’s crime thriller leads over Hrithik Roshan’s periodic drama. Akshay Kumar’s Rustom collects a superb review by critics and ratings also very fantastic. Rustom collects more than 3/5 ratings all over the world and Mohenjo Daro grabbed 1.5/5 stars. The golden word of mouth is important for every movie and if film got good review it will successfully running all over the world. The occupancy reports come around the world and Rustom performing better than Mohenjo Daro. Mohenjo Daro overseas collection is very good and movie earned 24 Cr from international market in just its first week. The overseas collection is better than Rustom and film till now earned 75 Cr worldwide.

Rustom Vs Mohenjo Daro 8th Day Worldwide Collection

Anybody not expecting this from Mohenjo Daro, big budget, best actor and director, best trailer and teaser and not the last and the least chartbuster music of A. R Rahman did not helps to collect more audience in theaters. After a best posters and even best trailer film fails to draw more audience attention. Despite having released in 2500 screens, the Ashutosh Gowarikar directorial is struggling to pull the audience to theatres.

The last Republic day released Airlift minted 127 Cr in India and become first 100 Cr movie of 2016. On 7th day the film saw usual drop in occupancy in multiplexes as well single screens but the late night shows picked up in decent margin due to semi holiday of Rakhshabandhan. The first 7 days collection crossed 90 Cr mark and near to enter in 100 Cr market. The box office clash with Ashutosh Gowarikar’s Mohenjo Daro, Rustom managed it box office collection.
